About me

I began my Transactional Analysis psychotherapy training in 2011 and have have been working with clients since 2012.

My client work includes two years as an Associate Counsellor at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and two years in Private Practice.

I am fully supervised by a TSTA (Training and Supervising Transactional Analyst) and a Transpersonal Supervisor specialising in Dissociative Identity Disorder.

My work

I offer Transactional Analysis psychotherapy delivered in a relational style. This means I make myself fully present in the work with the aim to uncover and challenge primitive or unconscious limiting self-beliefs. By uncovering unconscious negative beliefs, it enables my clients to make better choices in the way they behave and relate, thereby increasing the opportunity to get their needs met and feel happier.

I believe therapeutic relationship is the key to change through therapy meaning a commitment from both client(s) and therapist.

When working with DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), I offer a three-stage model of stabilisation, processing of trauma and integration. I am fully supervised by a specialist supervisor for my DID work.

I am deeply committed to and practice and abide by the principles and ethics of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) of which I am a member.

Training

I hold a diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counselling and I’m currently in the final stages of training for MSc. (Psychotherapy) at Metanoia Institute, Middlesex University.

Past Experience

In addition to my psychotherapy work, I have 20 years’ business experience at board level, working within high pressured music and entertainment businesses. Through this, I have developed skills in supporting people to thrive in competitive and stressful situations and mentoring and coaching them into fulfilling their best potential

Professional Affiliations

I am a registered member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).

In addition, I am a member of several organisations, each requiring a certain level of training and understanding to be part of. I belong to the Metanoia Institute and IARTA (International Association for Relational Transactional Analysis).

For my DID work I am also a member of RAINS (Ritual Abuse Information Network and Support) and PODS (Positive Outcomes for Dissociative Survivors).
